Aloha, I'm Leo. A full-stack developer with a focus on front-end stacks. I thrive on infusing interactive elements & playful themes into my web designs, creating digital experiences that leave a lasting impression.
About me
After a successful career in Luxury Hotel Sales, I decided to pursue my passion for programming. I enrolled in a coding bootcamp and learned full-stack web development. My favorite part of programming is the problem-solving aspect. I love the feeling of finally figuring out a solution to a problem. My core stack is React, Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Tailwind. I am also familiar with TypeScript and PostgreSQL. I am always looking to learn new technologies. I am currently looking for a full-time position as a software developer.
When I'm not coding, I enjoy playing video games, taking boxing classes, and watching NBA games. I love staying active as a former Division 1 Athlete at University of California, Irvine.

I worked as a Sales Manager for two luxury hotels based in Beverly Hills. I gained many skills throughout my experiences; including communication, problem solving, negotiation, time management, teamwork and leadership.
2018 - 2023Graduated bootcamp

I graduated after 6 months of studying. I immediately continued my personal studies, building out my projects and porfolio website.
April - August 2023Front-End Developer
Santa Monica, CA
Freelance project with rap artist, Rocco808. I used React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind and Framer Motion. Resulting in increased user engagement with over 20K fans and has displayed his newly developed website to top talent agencies based in Japan.
November - December 2023Full-Stack Developer
Santa Monica, CA
Freelance project with artist, Dulcie Yamanaka. I used React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB and Tailwind. Resulting in more than 30+ online sales within the first week and increased user engagement by 20% with her 40K Instagram followers.
